Jail Bookings

The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:

• Laron A. Clark, 40, Indianapolis, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant issued out of Hamilton County. He was taken into custody at the probation department. 

• Shawn M. Good, 34, 1847 Bachelor Lane, Rochester, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant issued out of Henry County. He was taken into custody at the courthouse.   

• Johnny Gomez, 58, Hammond, was arrested Tuesday on a preliminary charge of driving after having been judged a habitual traffic violator. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at State Road 25 and U.S. 31 and held without bond. 

• KC Sweet, 30, 4211 N. 200 West, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on warrants charging him with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at home and held without bond. 

Police Incidents

Ordinance related
• On Wednesday morning, city police left 14-day warning notices for a junk canopy mower at 1316 Washington St., and a junk four-wheeler at 1314 Washington St. 

Theft
• At 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported the theft of medication from his vehicle on Saturday night. He stated it possibly occurred at Rumors, 1617 Main St., with surveillance video to be reviewed.  

Child safety
• At 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, police received an anonymous report that two juveniles have been residing with a couple who are both registered sex offenders. The Department of Child Services was subsequently notified. 

Reckless
• At 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report that drivers of three trucks were doing burnouts in the parking lot of Kroger, 2040 Peace Tree Village.
• At 4:39 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that the driver of a maroon Ford F-150 failed to yield to children crossing at a crosswalk with flashing lights at Apache Drive and 18th Street. The driver then reportedly pulled into the parking lot of a liquor store. 

Property damage
• At 12:04 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a man damaged a sign in the Peace Tree Village parking lot. 

Animal call
• At 12:31 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that people have been living in a garage with as many as 20 dogs at a property in the 200 block of North East Street in Kewanna. A caller stated the dogs are constantly fighting and you can hear them at all hours of the night. Police records indicate that a female occupant had previously been advised to get the dogs fixed to prevent anymore accidental litters. 

Mischief
• At 5:33 p.m. Thursday, a woman residing at 1408 Audubon Ave. reported coming home to find that someone tried to break into her garage. Extra patrol was requested as a result.
