Jail Bookings

The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:

• Chhum S. Dalton, 37, Richmond, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended. He was picked up at the Hamilton County Jail and held on a $150 cash bond. 

• Ian M. Harding, 23, Kingman, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of reckless driving. He was taken into custody at the Fulton County Courthouse and held on a $150 cash bond. 

• Keith M. Sanders, 36, Kokomo, was arrested Tuesday on warrants charging him with two counts of failure to appear in court on original charges of driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. He was picked up at the Howard County Jail and held on two $150 cash bonds. 

• Kanija N. Taylor, 29, Indianapolis, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended. She was picked up at the Tipton County Jail and held on a $150 cash bond. 

• Anthony D. Thews, 44, Plymouth, was arrested Tuesday on warrants charging him with two counts of failure to appear in court on original charges of domestic battery and invasion of privacy. He was picked up at the Putnamville Correctional Facility and held without bond.


Police Incidents

Fire call
• Shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the drive-thru of McDonald's, 101 McDonald Drive. 

Welfare check
• At 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, a welfare check was requested for a resident of Jackson Boulevard after they claimed someone broke into their home overnight and set off "bug bombs." 

Wreck
• At approximately 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, farm machinery operated by Robert Painter, 47, of Rochester, hit a utility pole at county roads 350 East and 650 South in Macy. Police records indicate that the base of the pole was broken and a line was down, requiring a crew of Duke Energy to respond. 

Animal call
• At 1:16 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report about neglect of a dog, resulting in it and two cats being confiscated by animal control from 211 Northgate Circle.

Harassment
• At 5:03 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that someone called a local nursing home with false accusations about one of its employees. 

Motel incident
• At 6:09 p.m. Tuesday, an owner of Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31, reported that a man and woman were still refusing to check out after a call was made about the issue on Sunday. The owner was advised it was a civil issue and an eviction notice would be required, as the two have reportedly been there for more than 60 days.

Fight
• At 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a verbal altercation between two men in the 800 block of Main Street.
