Officers from the Plymouth Police Department investigated a report of a property damage accident where the driver left the scene.
On Tuesday, April 22nd, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Plymouth Police responded to the report of a property damage accident in the alleyway between Walnut and Plum Streets. Callers on scene told the dispatch center that the vehicle had fled the scene.
Officer Witkowski located the vehicle in the driveway of 1221 North Walnut Street. The driver, Larry Arroyo, 39, of the address, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
