Charles Gross, 44, of Argos, faces a felony charge of theft after the execution of a search warrant reportedly uncovered dozens of stolen items from LaPorte County.
On Tuesday, officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force coordinated an operation with the assistance of the LaPorte City Police Department, Marshall County Police and Argos Police in the 200 block of South Michigan Street in Argos.
A search warrant was executed and dozens of stolen items taken from LaPorte County were reportedly recovered. Officers also located suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the home.
Charles Gross, 44, of Argos, was subsequently arrested and booked at the LaPorte County Jail on a charge of theft, a Level 5 felony.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force will submit a report to the Marshall County Prosecutor's Office for further charges.
