Blue River Community Foundation staff and board members gathered recently at the Charles Davis Mansion for the last board meeting of the 2024.
After the meeting, BRCF invited grantees for a check presentation for the foundation's first ever Shining Bright Together grant cycle. This was a surprise grant cycle in which grantees were chosen by BRCF staff members.
$14,000 was distributed among the following agencies to celebrate the light that they shine on Shelby County: Blue River Youth Choir, Echo Effect , Grover Center: Museum and Historical Society, Johnson & Shelby County VASIA Program, Shelby County Active Aging Coalition, Fairland Historical Society, Dry Dock Club, Shelby County Reads, Waldron Volunteer Fire Department, Hope Center Indy, Boys & Girls Club of Shelbyville.
