Two people were taken into custody Wednesday night after a domestic disturbance call led Marshall County deputies to discover methamphetamine on one individual and inside a vehicle at the scene.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on July 2, Marshall County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Michigan Road for a reported domestic disturbance. While on scene, deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine on a male identified as Preston Hensley, 50, of Plymouth.
K-9 Deputy Blake Bennett deployed K-9 Diesel, who conducted an open-air sniff around a vehicle at the scene and alerted to the presence of narcotic odors. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up additional suspected methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Stacy Neff, 51, of Bourbon.
Both Hensley and Neff were transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on charges of possession of methamphetamine. Each was issued a $1,500 bond.
