Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 600 Blue Ridge Trail in Centennial Crossing just before 8 a.m. Sunday for a domestic disturbance.
Officers found 19-year-old Hector Manuel Fortin Granados, who had a booking address of North Plum Street, walking away from the scene.
A female at the scene had injuries sustained during an altercation instigated by Granados.
Granados was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked in for domestic battery-simple assault and a charge of strangulation and held on a $1500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
