15th Annual Senior Classic Games begin this Sunday in Plymouth

The Plymouth Park Department and Miller's Health System invite adults 50 and older to lace up their shoes, rack up the billiard balls, and step up to the bowling lane for the 15th Annual Senior Classic Games, running Sunday, July 26th through Thursday, July 30th.

Now in its 15th year, the Senior Classic Games celebrate healthy and active lifestyles for older adults through a fun mix of sports and games spread across five days. The event registration fee is just $10, and participants are welcome to sign up for one event or all of them. Registration forms are available at the Plymouth Park Department office.

Full Schedule of Events

  • Sunday, July 26th at 4 p.m. — Golf at Woodbury Golf Course (9 holes); $5 cart rental
  • Monday, July 27th at 4 p.m. — Cornhole Doubles at River Park Square, VFW Pavilion
  • Tuesday, July 28th at 1 p.m. — Euchre at the Marshall County Council on Aging
  • Wednesday, July 29th at 12 p.m. — Free Throw Shoot at Centennial Park, north courts
  • Wednesday, July 29th at 4 p.m. — Billiards at Harry Savage's
  • Thursday, July 30th at 9:30 a.m. — Shuffleboard at Centennial Park
  • Thursday, July 30th at 5:30 p.m. — Dinner at Quick Lanes for all participants
  • Thursday, July 30th at 6 p.m. — Bowling at Quick Lanes; $3 shoe rental
  • Friday, July 31st — Rain date for any postponed events

All participants must check in 15 minutes before their event. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place finishers in each event, along with Chamber Gift Certificates.
